Hi, my name is Dani and I am the seamstress behind Danimae Designs and Alterations.

I have a degree in Fashion Design with Textiles from The University of Huddersfiled and was first introduced to the world of alterations during my placement year. I now have several years experience working in Bridal alterations having worked on and off for another local seamstress over the years.

​

After finishing my degree, I worked in corporate fashion in London before the COVID pandemic brought me back home to Yorkshire. I spent a few years as a teacher before I reminded myself that working with clothes is where I belong and it was time to realise my lifelong dream of working for myself.

At Danimae Designs and Alterations you will always receive a friendly and professional service. My aim is to make sure that everyone leaves my studio after a fitting feeling comfortable and confident that their alterations are in good hands.
